Description
A solitary beachcomber, strolls along the shore at sunset, on the tip of Hatteras Island. The land across the channel is Ocracoke Island. For me, and many others this is the ultimate peace. The enormity of the sky and sea, and my feet in the sand, refreshes my soul. The ocean reflects your true self. To paraphrase Jack Kerouac, the closer you get to real matter, rock air, water, wood, the more spiritual the world is.
