Description
The Bee Hotel is designed to encourage and support a wide variety of pollinators. The well known honey bees only make up about 10 percent of the bee population. The other 90 percent are solitary bees, and don't live in hives. They occupy various sized holes and tunnels, in the ground, trees, or stems. They collect pollen and store it in the cavities as food for their young. They then lay their eggs, and seal the holes so the eggs remain safe from predators. They serve as fantastic pollinators for garden ecosystem.
