Description
This wild Eastern Cottontail Rabbit was out on a misty rainy day grabbing a snack. While he was eating, the poor little guy was being eaten also, by the deer ticks. It's one of three species that live in North Carolina, and by far the most common. They mostly feed nocturnally, but love to come out on rainy or foggy days when visibility is low.
