Saddle bronc rider at a local rodeo. Saddle bronc riding is rodeo's classic event, evolved from the task of breaking and training horses to work on cattle ranches. They try to stay on for 8 seconds. This cowboy made the ride!

I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina. Now, back home, and just enjoying the ride. I've been a photographer for over 40 years, first as a hobbyist, and then as a professional.
