Product Details

Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Artist's Description

Painted turtles are part of the pond turtle family. They are to most wodespread native turtle of North America. This Eastern Painted Turtle is floating easily on the surface of a slow moving canal. In some traditional native american tales, the painted turtle played the part of the trickster. He painted himself up to win the heart of the chief's daughter, and appeared to her as a man, until he got back to the water, where she finally saw who he was. She followed him into the water, and became a turtle too.

I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina. Now, back home, and just enjoying the ride. I've been a photographer for over 40 years, first as a hobbyist, and then as a professional. I've enjoyed a lifelong love affair with animals domestic and wild, especially horses. I am an animal advocate, an outdoorsman, and naturalist first, and then a photographer.
