Description
Dawn breaks over the fields of the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, in eastern North Carolina. This is bear country! The fog hangs close to the ground, waiting for the sun's rays to warm the air, and melt it away. We are looking across one of the man made "breaks" planted with soybeans, to provide a food source for the bears, and other wildlife.
